Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
